Card Room Operations Guide

Master the core operations of your card room — sessions, tables, waitlists, and floor requests.

7 소요 시간 Step-by-step guide

Overview

Card room operations are the heart of Cardroom360. This guide covers everything you need to know about running sessions, managing tables, handling waitlists, and processing floor requests.

Live Dashboard

The Live Dashboard is your command center. From the Live tab, you can see:

  • Active Sessions — All currently running cash games, tournaments, and training sessions
  • Table Status — Which tables are active, which have open seats, and which are full
  • Waitlist Queue — How many players are waiting and for which games
  • Staff Status — Which dealers and staff are on duty

The dashboard updates in real time as sessions change.

Session Management

Cardroom360 supports three types of sessions:

Cash Game Sessions

The most common session type. Players buy in, play, and cash out at any time.

  1. Tap "New Session" from the Live tab
  2. Select "Cash Game"
  3. Choose game type (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Teen Patti, Rummy, etc.)
  4. Select stakes (blinds, buy-in range)
  5. The session is now active

Tournament Sessions

Scheduled events with structured play, blind levels, and payouts.

  1. Tap "New Session" and select "Tournament"
  2. Configure tournament settings (blinds, antes, payouts)
  3. Register players
  4. Start the tournament clock

Training Sessions

For dealer training and practice games.

  1. Tap "New Session" and select "Training"
  2. Select training type (hand ranking, pitching, shuffling)
  3. Assign trainees and trainers

Table Operations

Each table has its own management interface:

  • Dealer Assignment — Assign a dealer to the table
  • Seat Management — Add or remove players from specific seats
  • Game State — Track the current hand, pot, and betting round
  • Player HUD — View player information at the table

Tables can be configured with different settings: number of seats, felt color, rail color, and betting lines.

Waitlist Management

When tables are full, players join the waitlist. Cardroom360 offers two waitlist modes:

Auto-Assign

Players are automatically seated when a seat opens. The system considers player preferences and table balance.

Manual Assign

Staff manually assigns players to specific seats. Useful for VIP players or special arrangements.

Waitlist configuration options:

  • Maximum waitlist size
  • Priority rules (VIP, loyalty tier, first-come-first-served)
  • Geo-fencing (notify players when close to the card room)
  • Communication preferences (push notification, SMS)

Floor Requests

Players and dealers can submit floor requests from the table device. Common requests include:

  • Chip denomination changes
  • Rule clarifications
  • Dispute resolution
  • Table maintenance
  • Player issues

Floor requests appear on the Live Dashboard. Staff reviews and resolves them, updating the status in real time.

Closing Sessions

When a session ends, close it to generate stats and reconcile finances:

  1. Navigate to the active session on the Live Dashboard
  2. Tap "Close Session"
  3. Review session statistics (duration, hands played, revenue)
  4. Reconcile financial transactions
  5. The session moves to closed history

Closed session data feeds into analytics and reports for long-term insights.
